Meet the Team

Judith Dennis, MD
Judith Dennis, MDMedical Director
Dr. Dennis is Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine and is the Medical Director for Roswell Urgent Care. She graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science and went on to earn her Doctorate of Medicine at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA.

After moving to Atlanta in 1990, Dr. Dennis worked as Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery at Emory University and served as Supervising Attending Physician at Grady Memorial Hospital for 8 years. She continued working in local Emergency Departments until 2005 when she turned her attention to Urgent Care.

Dr. Dennis now lives in Roswell with her husband, 2 children, 4 cats and many fish. She is very active in the local school system and with the local rabbit rescue organization. In her very limited free time, she loves to garden.

Andrea Kovacic, MD
Andrea Kovacic, MDPhysician
Dr. Kovacic is a Board-Certified Family Physician, specializing in Urgent Care Medicine. Originally from the Midwest, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She earned her medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio and then completed the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Family Medicine Residency Program at Fairview in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Kovacic has practiced Urgent Care Medicine in Georgia since the completion of her formal medical training in 2005. She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She lives in Cobb County with her husband and 2 children.

Scott Hearn, PA-C

Mr. Hearn has over 30 years of healthcare experience, beginning as a paramedic at the age of 20. He worked his way through school, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Texas State University. Later, he obtained his first Master’s degree at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. While completing his graduate degree, he also earned the rank of Assistant Professor, teaching at the University of Texas Health Science Center. There, Mr. Hearn taught paramedics, medical students and medical residents as well as Army Special Forces (Green Berets) and Navy SEALS. Mr. Hearn was honored with a commendation from the Special Forces Command at Fort Command at Fort Bragg, NC for his time spent teaching these military professionals.

In 1997, Mr. Hearn moved with his wife, Kathy, and their two daughters to Atlanta to attend Emory University. He earned his PA and Masters of Medical Science degree from Emory in 1999, graduating with highest honor and achieving a 99th percentile score on the PA National Board Exam. Since that time he has worked in Emergency Medicine in the Northside, Emory and Piedmont hospital systems.
